Council Report 2016 | Council Members
Marrara Christian College is a campus of NT Christian Schools. This organisation operates eight schools in the Northern Territory and is governed by a Board elected by members. Members are Christians from the full spectrum of Christian denominations in the NT.
Each of the schools has its own school (or college) council which is delegated some of the Board’s authority as it impacts the particular school. The Council is responsible for ensuring effective policies for the College, resourcing the College, its educational programme and other directional issues. The Council reports to the Board and Organisation through the Chief Executive Officer of NT Christian Schools.
In this way, parents of Marrara Christian College elect their own council to govern much of the activities of the College. The Principal and Executive staff are responsible for the day to day management of the school.
NT Christian Schools are members of Christian Education National. To find out more about C.E.N. please click the following link www.cen.edu.au.
