Mr. John Metcalfe - MCC Principal

John has been Principal at Marrara Christian College since the beginning of 2005. Prior to taking up this role, he served as Principal of Wellington Christian School and Orange Christian School in NSW. He then took up the position of National Director of Christian Parent Controlled Schools (now Christian Education National) for three years and left that to undertake mission training overseas for a year in Hawaii and Israel. The move to Darwin was a return, because John had worked at Marrara for five years as a young teacher. He is humbled to be enrolling children of the students he taught in those days.
John is married to Andrea and they have two boys. Both attend Marrara Christian College.
He is committed to serving parents by making the college a place that is conducive to academic, social, vocational and spiritual development.
